For my birthday, Jarv bought us tickets to Paris for a weekend in September. I haven't been since I was about 9, so my memory of the city is pretty hazy. I'm looking forward to exploring it in a whole new light and finding out once and for all if it really is as romantic as every person on earth seems to claim.
In anticipation of the weekend, I've become infatuated with Paris-themed blogs based on living in, exploring and loving the French capital (in particular 8 Rue Caffarelli and Paris in Four Months).
I've already compiled a list of places to eat, a stop by Pierre Hermes (honestly, I don't even have a particular affinity for eating macarons, they're just so darn pretty to look at), visits to museums & galleries and the likes...and this hasn't even taken into consideration all the places Jarv will surely be making a list of himself. He is such a planning freak.
Do any of you have tips or suggestions on places to go (or avoid)? I'm more than happy to receive them!
