LINES & CURVES

I love simple pieces with unusual details or shapes. This skirt, for example (as seen before), is a pencil skirt like no other. Curves along the seam, a gold zip running along the back and ending with a slit, the colour blocking of powerful red and classic black, the asymmetrical 'V' shape of the waist, folding like origami. Then the blouse - plain except for the sheer panelled T running down the arms and back (similar here).

On another note - have you seen the video for Sia's single 'Chandelier'? That girl - Maddie - is the most beautiful dancer. The passion and emotion with which she throws herself about the room is incredible. I was surprised to see numerous Youtube comments about how she's "creepy" and "can't even dance" and "looks like she's throwing a tantrum". I find those comments, frankly, ridiculous. But I suppose not everybody views things in the same way. Personally, I was blown away and could watch it over and over again.
