It wasn't me at my best; blue lips, chattering teeth and pale skin on a very chilly end of winter's afternoon. What is it about winter in London that seems so much worse than being on an icy glacier in the middle of Iceland? At least, to me, anyway. My father agrees - waking up in a cold house is the worst feeling. But spending a day exploring in the snow (or in his case, photographing owls in Mongolia) is absolutely fine.
Anyway...a grey, gloomy, glum day led to some pretty moody shots, with just a hint of sunshine filtering in from the side. Monochrome was the perfect expression of how I felt when I looked outside that morning. Plus I do love marble anything.
