This skirt, when seen from afar, reminds me of the static on a TV, or even of a starry night sky. Certainly not a London one, but the kind you see in the countryside when all is completely dark and clear.
I wanted somewhere to shoot that projected a corporate kind of vibe (though a crop top is not the kind of office wear I'm condoning) to match this slightly more formal outfit. So where else than my beloved Canary Wharf, of course? Though it is impossible, during the week, to find a quiet spot devoid of suits and skirts rushing from one place to the next. I can't tell you how many cars politely left a gap between them and the next so that I could have this outfit shot without interruption during a red light. I couldn't help but appreciate such a simple but kind act from these strangers, some who grinned at me from behind their wheel, others who nodded when I mouthed my (apologetic) gratitude. Some were simply curious, too.
