We went back. After barely 3 months away, we returned to our beloved paradise (with friends in tow!). The Cathay Pacific flight over was practically empty in Business, which we took full advantage of, moving from seat to seat, posing in the aisles, etc. Later, one of the flight attendants told me that the pilots had been enjoying the in-flight entertainment (our seats were right next to the cockpit where, of course, security cameras are placed). Haha.
As with the other two visits, we decided to divide our stay across a few different villas and resorts, starting at the Intercontinental Bali, Jimbaran Bay. In actuality, this first stay was a last minute, happy change in circumstances; the result of our itinerary being rerouted due to volcanic ash (there are a lot of volcanoes in Indonesia, some of which are constantly erupting). We ended up in Bali a day earlier than planned, which worked out great for us. After having already spent New Years Eve in Singapore and New Year's Day in Hong Kong, we were ready to get to the meat of our holiday. And so, we arrived at the Intercontinental resort near Denpasar airport to stay the night before moving on to the first private villa of the trip the next afternoon.
Not someplace I would choose to spend an entire holiday in Bali, given that there are literally hundreds upon hundreds of more private luxury resorts and villas to choose from, but still a lovely resort for airport convenience/accessibility.

After seeing your last post and now this one, you are certainly motivating me to vacation at Bali instead of Europe, as planned with my hubby! I mean, this place is a dream. How awesome is it that you had the whole business class to yourself, I'm sure you and your crew enjoyed every minute of it! Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you're having a wonderful time in Bali!
