Pastels and paisley, what a combination. Though I'm not usually one for dressing head to toe in monochromatic - especially bright or attention-grabbing - colour (except for black), this top and these trousers were just made for each other. When I tried them on together my eyebrows shot up in pleasant surprise - the top clings flawlessly to the waist and the trousers sit snugly atop the hip, billowing out slightly at the ankle for the perfect contrast.
As the skies darken around 4pm these days I find it increasingly more difficult to feel motivated to dress up, look nice, make an effort. To bother. An attempt to combat the winter blues (or embrace, I should say) made here...now for an excuse to wear it again. It's far too tempting to stay indoors, snug in my cosy apartment, in my ugly pyjamas and fluffy socks.

Very grateful to my dad for shooting this! I keep trying to convince him to start his photography Instagram...hint, hint, dad.
